The big Three-O

Well, Tuesday came and went no problem. Turning thirty had no affect on the world whatsoever, and I even managed to wake up on Wednesday morning. When I was a little younger I used to think that thirty was pretty damn old, and now that I am thirty, it doesn't feel too much different than 21. It does take a little longer to recover from the boozin, but other than that I don't feel much older. Life is good at thirty. I have a good wife, my dog likes me, cat doesn't want to kill me very often, and all my family and friends are healthy. I have a lot of friends, and not many enemies(just ducks that eat my garbage, and the poh-lice). I am pretty content right now. The worst part about the first thirty years is that you don't remember part of it: being born through age 5, and the "college/alcohol years". Not that the first 30 weren't memorable, but I think the best is yet to come. Who knows, maybe if the Internet stays popular, aliens don't attack the earth, and I don't get eaten by the Sasquatch, I will be blogging for another 30 years! (once a week if your lucky, but keep in mind, Past performance does not guarantee future results.)

Soo, your memory will go, so you'd best squeeze your eyes shut after each memorable moment and cement it in your ever-decreasing brain capacity.

Oops, apparently my own brain capacity is diminishing: I meant "soon."
