For a blog about the joys of alcohol, this year has been pretty weak. So far I have had 6 beers all year. Not by choice however. I came back from God's country with what I though was a cold/flu. It kept getting worse, so yesterday I went to see a Doctor to have it checked out. Dr. Gupta, a nice indian(dot, not feather) fella did the diagnosis and figured I have a sinus infection.(which I am sure I have had in the past I have just never been sissy enough to go to the doctor for). So whether it be a sinus infection or just plain ole pussinitus, I have been out of action for the first 5 days of the year. I will go off of the antibiotics on Wednesday so that is when I will be back to my drunken self. I tried to get myself in the mood for some drinking tonight by watching Beer Fest, but my wife "Sally Sleepyface" couldn't stay awake for the whole thing so we had to stop it. eh, such is life.

Hey, remember when you said you wanted to run a 5K in under 27 minutes? Still a goal? Maybe the Maroone 5K on Feb 3rd? It's the same one we did two years ago. Think on it; otherwise, when is the corporate run? I think I might actually get to run it this year!
P.S. You don't need Dr. Gupta to diagnose pussitus -- I could've told you that for free. Just kidding. I would've charged you $200.
