Well, that was absolute torture and I am glad its over with. I did beat my personal best, by 50 seconds. I am still waiting for the final results, but that is what my watch said. It was hot as a motherfucker out. Jess took the loss in stride, and I didn't rub it in. I got a free breakfast out of the deal, and it was delicious. It was nice running with people I knew, I don't think I could show up at a race by myself, it just wouldn't be as fun. I was getting pretty stressed out about the race the last week. Once I saw that Jess ran 3 miles in 27:30 it made me nervous and gave me the squirts for a couple days. Now that it is over, and I won one for the men, it is like a huge weight has been lifted off of my shoulders. I will probably keep running here and there, but no more stupid bets, this one was a little too close for comfort.
I also need to mention that my wife got a wild hair up in there, and decided to run the race this morning since she was already awake. Her training for the run consisted of running one mile twice in the last 2 months. She finished around 37 minutes which is good, and another positive is she is too wore out to nag at me.
Friday ABC-4 (1 beer,3 shots)
Saturday ABC- 6 beers

Good job Ryan. You can return to solid poop now.
Ryan, they just posted the Chapion Chip results, and you finished almost exactly three minutes ahead of me.
Jess, the biggest question is how does Ryan feel today versus how you feel? We can barely move but I bet you got up and ran this morning!
