Eh, nothing but a buttload of disappointment this week.
The Velvet Underground- Velvet Underground and Nico. So lately I have been hearing alot about this band, so I figured I would check them out. krap is what it is. It maybe that 40 years ago it was good, but it gives me a headache today. There are maybe 3 listenable songs on the whole disc.
The White Stripes- Icky Thump. Eh, not sure what to say about this one. Now I know a few weeks ago I was bitching about how every song on the Lamb of God album sounded the same, but with the White Stripes, they are all over the board. None of the songs sound alike, which is too bad, because there is actually 2 very good songs on the album. Too much song differentiation=no song pleasurization. This album might grow on me after awhile, but I don't know that I will have the patience to give it that chance.
Monday ABC's= Zero
Tuesday Exercise=8.7 miles bike.

The White Stripes are unpredicatble, which is good in some ways, but sometimes you just want something with a dang melody!
I followed your suggestions and bought the new Velvet Revolver over the weekend.
Not unhappy I bought it but glad I only spent $9.00 on it. I think of you everytime I listen to it so that's good.
I haven't heard too many cd's lately worth paying more than 10 dollars for. I did buy the cd at the store rather than downloading it illegally. It is good, but you're right about the 9 dollar part. Now I am going to think of YOU every time I listen to it.
Awww, how romantic!
I love you too Jess but Ryan just has that... I don't know, something, you know what I mean.
Yes, Sir Baldy, I understand: it's a certain "je ne sais qua," oui?
oui! et ryan est vraiment bon avec sa langue.
Jess, I don't know how rusty my french is so I hope you can understand this. Ryan, you don't need to know because you live it.
