Erin came home from work at noon yesterday not feeling well, had a fever and pretty much laid in bed for 20 hours shivering. She just left for urgent care. The child that she spawned 13.5 months ago is cutting teeth like it is his job. It seems to be 2 good days, followed by 2 bad days. I feel bad for him, because I know it has to hurt, but the nonstop whining is driving me up the wall. The only positive is that Tylenol helps his teeth, as well as making him sleepy. So here is what I am hoping for at the end of the weekend:
1. Erin feels better by Monday. I don't care if she is ill for the next 2 days. I can handle the kid, and I can moderately tend to her needs. She is supposed to leave for work on Tuesday(Colorado maybe?) and she has been working until 10 all week long preparing for a presentation that she has to present at. It would be disappointing for her not to be able to go. It would also be disappointing to Miller and I, as we haven't had any Totino's pizzas since that last time she left.
2. Miller and I don't catch what Erin has. Cutting teeth, plus some mystery disease is not what I call a good time. Especially if Erin is out of town all next week.
That is all. Carry on.

I think she's going to Chicago, actually.
If you need some relief, send Miller over here for a bit. We can handle whining; plus, we're not afraid to combat whining with hot poking sticks.
Let's hope both boys don't catch it otherwise it won't be a fun boys time at all - even though I do hear that Totinos have special curative powers...
Here's hoping you boys don't get sick cuz I would hate for boys time to be without the Totinos-what kind of fun time would that be?
I appreciate the offer Jess, but until we are all clear of Captain Tripps, we will have to quarantine ourselves from you. 103 temps are not what pregnant ladies need. Especially since you will be giving birth next Wednesday at 330 in the morning.
