Week Half Done

Done with baby class for the week. Thank God. 2.5 hours is way to long to watch an older lady rub her belly and way to long to listen to her drone on and on in the same monotone voice. Oh well, I am sure she isn't getting paid millions to do it since her day job is a RN. We watched the birth video last night, it wasn't too bad. Certainly not as bad as the Gorefest we had to watch in 10th grade health. I still remember poor Dallas passing out and falling out of his desk during that one. Pretty glad that I don't live out on the Prarie where I would have to deliver the baby myself,(not that I couldn't, I have seen enough tv to have a pretty good grasp). So now I don't have to think about babies until at least next Monday night.

Guitar lessons went well. I am riding a fine line as to whether or not I want to sign up for another month(I have to let them know next week). I probably will though. Its hard to learn very much after only 4 hours of lessons.

New 'Children of Bodom-Blooddrunk' Cd is excellent. The part that I really like about this band is that they keep all of their songs right around the 4 minute mark(rare for a thrash/melodic metal band). The negative part about that is they only include 10 songs on every cd. I guess it is better to have 10 good songs than 4 good songs out of 16.

I also picked up 'John-5, The Devil knows my name'. It is pretty well done. All guitar songs, no vocals. I will probably have a cd similar to this after my second months worth of lessons. I will sign copies for my fans for a fee of $30(in addition to the cost of the CD).

Finished reading 'Alice Cooper-Golf Monster'. It was good, easy reading. Not near as depressing as 'Slash' and 'Heroin Diaries'. Now I need to find something else to read, preferrably something that doesn't involve copius amounts of heroin, coke, Jack Daniels, Rehab, or babies.

That is all. Good Day.

Those are some rigid guidelines for reading material -- what is out there that doesn't have of those elements?

you could try Inanis the Hooded, I hear that's a pretty good read. I suggest you go to your library and demand a copy!
