I seem to be on a weekly posting schedule. eh, whatever works. Erin and I got quite a bit done this weekend. We cleaned out the file cabinet this weekend. Now I had some stuff in there don't get me wrong, but not near as much stuff as Erin. There was probably close to 15lbs of paper that we(meaning I) had to get rid of. Since we don't have an INDUSTRIAL paper shredder I had to use my brain to figure out another method. I was thinking about eating it, or feeding it to Annie and scooter but that would get old after about one receipt. I didn't want to tear it up by hand either, due to laziness. So I decided to make a burning barrel in the backyard and burn the shit!! This worked okay, but it didn't burn near as fast as I thought it would, and after about 4 beers I had had enough. As I was stirring the flames I looked down and saw that I was burning one of Erins Pay stubs from 1996!!! Honestly, I don't even think the IRS wants you to keep that shit that long.
This week I have to call on the gutters, take some dimension for the shed shelving, and go to the in laws for Easter. Its gonna be a close one if I wanna get all this shit done by the end of March....
That is all. Good day.

Burning was a good idea but it ashed all over my newly cleaned car :(
I love burn barrels! It's so Minnesota!
I cleaned out a filing cabinet not too long ago and discovered bank statements that were from 1998. You're right, no one needs to keep that shit for that long.
And yay for burning stuff!
