Sneak Peek!

That's right people, there is actually a shelf in the bookshelf. I finished putting up the supports tonight, and the wife went on a solo run to home depot(she fussed about it, but I don't think she minded too much) to get the shelf posts so we could actually put a shelf up. Now you might say to yourself " damn G, it looks like that muthafucka's almost done with that muthafuckin project!". You could say that, but you would be wrong. One of my college professors(who was a real piece of shit, but that's beside the point) always used to say that the last 10% of the work usually takes 90% of the time. That is true with this project. As you can see from the photo, I still have trim to paint and install, many screw holes to fill, some caulk to insert in the seams, and I have to install all the electronics, as well as convince the wife that I need a flat screen TV like Cookie Monster needs cookies. Lots of work, lots of work. Not to mention I hate doing that sort of shit so this project might come to a screechin halt. We'll see. Anyways, here is a funny photo of my stupid dog trying to go through netting thats meant to keep dogs in the back of the blazer.

Now thats funny.

Very nice, I especially love the crinkle can on the shelf, you must have stocked up in MN!

Can wait to see the finished product!

I see you're turning Amish too. Does that have to do with the wood-working you're doing? You are a Gomer!
